By using heic-convert.net (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
The Service lets you convert HEIC/HEIF image files to JPG or PNG. The conversion runs locally in your web browser; we do not receive, process or store the files you convert.
2. Acceptable use
- Only convert images you own or have the right to use.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you are not permitted to handle.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for misuse, or circumvent the security of the Service.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that every file will convert successfully, that output will be free of defects, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Image conversion to JPG is lossy by nature.
4. Your files are your responsibility
Because conversion happens on your device and nothing is uploaded, we never hold a copy of your images. Keep your own backups of any original photo before converting it. We are not responsible for any loss of or damage to your files.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEICtoJPG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
6. Intellectual property and trademarks
The Service's name, design and original text belong to HEICtoJPG. HEIC, HEIF, iPhone, iPad, iOS, Apple and other marks are the property of their respective owners; HEICtoJPG is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. See our Disclaimer.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
